Refund Policy
Our Commitment
At The Exped Ltd, we aim to provide a professional, transparent, and reliable experience.
We understand that plans can change and that concerns may arise after a service has been purchased. This policy explains how we handle consultation cancellations, rescheduling requests, service complaints, and refund requests.
We aim to treat each request fairly while recognising the time and resources involved in delivering professional services.
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
Services Covered
This policy applies to paid services provided by The Exped Ltd, including one-time consultations, unless a separate written agreement sets out specific terms.
Talent-sourcing and recruitment engagements are governed by their own written proposals or agreements, which will explain the applicable fees, milestones, cancellation arrangements, and refund or replacement terms.
One-Time Consultation Cancellations
Cancellations at least 24 hours before the appointment
If you request cancellation at least 24 hours before your scheduled consultation, you may choose:
- A full refund of the consultation fee; or
- Rescheduling to an available appointment.
Please contact us at info@theexped.com and provide your name, booking details, and preferred resolution.
Cancellations less than 24 hours before the appointment
We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise. However, a late cancellation may leave insufficient time to offer the reserved appointment to another client.
Requests made less than 24 hours before the appointment will be considered individually, taking into account the circumstances, any notice provided, the work already undertaken, and any applicable legal requirements.
Where appropriate, we may offer a rescheduled session, a partial refund, or another reasonable resolution. A full refund is not automatic for a late cancellation, but we will consider the circumstances fairly.
Missed appointments
If you do not attend your scheduled consultation and have not notified us, the appointment will generally be treated as a missed session and will not automatically qualify for a refund.
If you experience a genuine emergency or exceptional circumstance, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible. We will consider the circumstances and determine whether rescheduling or another remedy is appropriate.
Cancellations by The Exped Ltd
If The Exped Ltd cancels a consultation or cannot provide the agreed session, you may choose an available rescheduled appointment or a full refund of the amount paid for the undelivered consultation.
If another paid service cannot be delivered as agreed, we will communicate with you and discuss an appropriate resolution, taking into account the work completed, the outstanding commitments, and applicable law.
Dissatisfaction or Concerns About a Service
We want clients to feel that their time, trust, and payment have been respected.
If you believe a consultation or other service was materially different from what was agreed, or that an important part of the paid service was not delivered, please contact us within seven (7) calendar days of the session or relevant delivery date where reasonably possible.
Please provide:
- Your name and email address.
- The service or consultation concerned.
- The date of the booking or engagement.
- A description of your concern.
- The resolution you would like us to consider.
We will review the complaint in good faith and may request further information to understand what happened.
Depending on the circumstances, a reasonable resolution may include:
- Clarification or follow-up relating to the agreed service.
- A corrective or replacement session where appropriate.
- Rescheduling.
- A partial refund.
- A full refund where warranted.
A difference of professional opinion or the absence of a particular business outcome does not, by itself, establish that a consultation was not delivered as agreed. However, we will consider whether the service matched its agreed description and scope.
The seven-day period is intended to help us resolve concerns promptly. It does not remove any rights or remedies available to you under applicable law.
Talent Sourcing and Recruitment Services
Talent sourcing may involve time spent understanding requirements, researching the market, identifying and assessing candidates, coordinating introductions, and providing recruitment support.
Before a talent-sourcing engagement begins, The Exped Ltd will provide a written proposal or agreement setting out the relevant scope, fees, payment milestones, expected deliverables, and applicable cancellation, refund, or replacement arrangements.
Where an engagement is cancelled after work has commenced, any refund assessment will consider the written agreement, the work completed, the services already delivered, and any applicable legal requirements.
If The Exped Ltd cannot deliver a material part of the agreed engagement, we will discuss an appropriate remedy. Depending on the circumstances and the agreement, this may include completing outstanding work, extending the engagement, or providing a proportionate refund.
Any replacement-candidate commitment, placement guarantee, or time-limited recruitment guarantee applies only where expressly agreed in writing.
No general refund rule for one-time consultations automatically applies to a talent-sourcing engagement.
Duplicate or Incorrect Payments
If you believe you have made a duplicate payment or been charged an incorrect amount, contact info@theexped.com with the relevant transaction reference and details.
We will investigate the matter and, where an error is confirmed, arrange an appropriate correction or refund.
Please do not send your full payment-card number, card security code, password, or other sensitive payment credentials by email.
How to Request a Refund
Please email info@theexped.com with the subject line “Refund Request.”
Include your name, the service purchased, the payment date, the transaction reference if available, and the reason for your request.
We aim to acknowledge refund requests within three business days and provide an initial response or update within five business days.
If additional information is needed, we will let you know. These are our intended response targets, not a guarantee that every investigation will be completed within that period.
Refund Processing
Where a refund is approved, we will generally initiate it through the original payment method, subject to the payment provider's procedures and applicable law. If that method is unavailable, we may agree on another appropriate method.
The time it takes for funds to appear in your account may depend on the payment provider, card issuer, bank, currency, and transaction type.
Any processing or currency-conversion effects will be handled in accordance with the applicable provider's rules and law. We will not promise a settlement timeline that we cannot control.
Payment Disputes
We encourage clients to contact us first so that we can investigate and attempt to resolve any concern promptly.
This does not prevent a client from exercising applicable rights through their bank, card issuer, payment provider, or relevant consumer-protection authority.
