Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

In these Terms of Use, “The Exped Ltd,” “we,” “our,” and “us” refer to the business operating The Exped Ltd. “You” and “your” refer to anyone visiting our website, submitting an enquiry, or using our services.

Our registered legal name and registered details should be used in formal contracts and disclosures where required.

Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms govern your use of our website and apply to our services to the extent relevant to your interaction with us.

By using our website, submitting an enquiry, booking a consultation, or engaging our services, you acknowledge these Terms.

Specific services may be subject to a separate proposal, quotation, booking confirmation, or written engagement agreement. Where specific written terms conflict with these general Terms, the specific terms will govern the relevant engagement to the extent of the conflict, subject to applicable law.

Our Services

The Exped may provide:

  • One-time one-on-one consultations
  • Mentorship-Access to industry experts and professional perspectives.
  • Technical talent sourcing and recruitment.
  • Introductions and matching between clients and suitable professionals.
  • Related services agreed upon in writing.

The scope, price, currency, availability, and expected delivery of a paid service will be communicated before the client commits to the engagement.

Submitting an enquiry does not guarantee acceptance of an engagement, availability of a particular expert, or successful identification or placement of a candidate.

Consultations and Professional Guidance

Consultations are intended to provide relevant information, professional perspectives, and practical guidance within the agreed scope. An initial match with a suitable professional is targeted within 72 hours of receiving the client’s requirements, subject to the role’s complexity and professional availability.

Recommendations are based on the information available and the circumstances discussed during the session. You remain responsible for your business decisions and how you apply the guidance provided.

Unless expressly agreed in writing and appropriately authorised, our consultations do not replace legal, tax, medical, investment, or other regulated professional advice.

We do not guarantee funding, business growth, investment returns, product-market fit, commercial success, or any other specific business outcome unless a particular deliverable or commitment is expressly agreed in writing.

Technical Talent Sourcing and Recruitment

The Exped may help clients identify, assess, and connect with technical professionals.

Each talent-sourcing engagement will be governed by a separate proposal or written agreement describing the relevant scope, fees, milestones, expected deliverables, and applicable cancellation, refund, replacement, or completion terms.

Candidate introductions are intended to support a client's recruitment process. Clients remain responsible for deciding whether to engage a candidate and for conducting appropriate interviews, reference checks, and other lawful assessments.

An introduction alone does not create an employment or contractor relationship between The Exped Ltd and the candidate, or between the client and the candidate.

Any placement guarantee or replacement commitment applies only if expressly included in the relevant written agreement.

Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and reasonably complete information relevant to your enquiry or engagement.
  • Ensure that you are authorised to share any information or materials you submit.

  • Make payments in accordance with the agreed payment terms.
  • Use our website and services lawfully.
  • Avoid fraudulent activity, impersonation, harassment, misuse of confidential information, or other unlawful conduct.

We may decline, suspend, or terminate an engagement where reasonably necessary because of material misrepresentation, unlawful conduct, non-payment, or a serious breach of agreed terms. Where appropriate, we will communicate the reason and address any outstanding client commitments in accordance with the applicable agreement and law.

Fees and Payments

The applicable fee, currency, payment method, and scope of service will be communicated before payment.

Payments may be processed by third-party providers, including Flutterwave. Payment processing, settlement, and dispute procedures may also be subject to the provider's applicable terms.

Confidentiality

We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Clients should identify confidential business information when sharing it and should not submit information they are not authorised to disclose.

Where a separate confidentiality agreement or engagement agreement applies, its terms will govern the relevant engagement.
